Kyle Lewis is a visionary South African film director whose work is turning heads on the global stage. Known for his genre-defying style and instinctive grasp of youth culture, Lewis is carving out a powerful international reputation across music videos, branded content, and commercial campaigns.

 

From Johannesburg to London, Berlin to Seoul, Lewis’s bold, cinematic vision has attracted a diverse international audience. He has directed for world-renowned brands like Heineken, Nike, BMW, Absolut, Volkswagen, and Vodacom, creating campaigns that stand out for their vibrant imagery and cultural relevance. His ability to translate local stories into universally resonant narratives makes him a sought-after director in the global advertising arena.

 

In music, Kyle’s reputation is equally impactful. He has worked with major African artists like BURNA BOY, Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Riky Rick, and Khuli Chana, helping to elevate South African music videos to a world-class standard. His visually arresting work has earned international acclaim, including a SAMA for Best Music Video, a nomination for a MTV Africa Music Award, and the title of Best Music Video 2019 by Boiler Room UK.

 

Represented by Tony Pietersen (Germany), Moon Films (Poland), and Egg Films (global), Lewis’s work has been featured eight times in Shots - the most by any South African director over a two-year span - underscoring his rising influence in the international creative industry.
